Interaction of vegetation and river channel morphology identified from detailed 3D models

The aim of the thesis is to generate and classify complex 3D point cloud of river landscape containing surface of floodplain, vegetation and channel bottom. The river landscape model obtained by drones will be processed and used for identification individual morphological landformforms as basic habitats for the river ecosystem functioning. The thesis is based on processing optical data obtained from drones and satellite as follow as the automatic classification of various types of landforms (point cloud geometry and spectral characteristics of images). The results will be validated by field research.
