Annotation
The dissertation is focused on the study of solid (dust) particles in the air, which are serious environmental and health risks. The aim of the work is to obtain, based on the specific characteristics of dust particles (chemical, phase composition, size distribution, shape characteristics), the deficient knowledge about their origin in relation to anthropogenic and natural sources of their emissions and the resulting risks for selected environmental components. Suspended (PM) and solid particles of atmospheric deposition will be collected using active and passive methods in urban and industrial environments with the influence of the metallurgical industry. Analytical methods and techniques such as AAS, ICP MS, XRF, chromatographic methods, SEM with EDX, X-ray powder diffraction, granulometry and others will be used for the analyses.
