  Nad Slovensko-macedónskym slovníkom
Emil Horák

Macedonian studies in Slovakia, Slovak studies in Macedonia, application of „second hand“ method in creating a bilingual dictionary.

The paper reviews creation of the „Slovak-Macedonian dictionary“ (2014) under current (unsatisfactory) conditions of Slovak-Macedonian linguistic relations. Applied „second hand“ method in dictionary does not allow to apply direct confrontation of each lexeme meanings of two languages, which is markedly negative reflected in the entire dictionary. In addition, this „method“ contravenes also to ethical aspect of scientific work as it allows authors of dictionary make author of its initial part as anonymous.
