A closer cooperation of the SAS and University of Matej Bel

The highest representatives of the Slovak academy of sciences and the University of Matej Bel in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia signed on Thursday 3. August in Bratislava a Memorandum of cooperation in the field of scientific and research activities scientific training and education.
As highlighted by the president of the Slovak academy of sciences prof. Pavol Šajgalík production of the various forms of mutual support and cooperation a new space to the realization of the concept of some common places of work, to system support and sustainability of the infrastructure and to more effective cooperation of experts both sides in a variety of disciplines. The rector of the University of Matej Bel in Banská Bystrica doc. Ing. Vladimir Hiadlovský, PhD. reminded the broad focus of the six faculties of the university and in particular the mutually beneficial use of science & technical potential and professional capacity in the natural sciences, in the economy and in the framework of the faculty of arts MBU BB.
