On the third day of the SASPRO workshop, scholars presented their scientific postdoctoral works in the area of social sciences and humanities. Ten researchers presented the current stage and prospects of their research within the thematic spectrum of archaeology, history, sociology, political science, philosophy and linguistics.
The seminar was opened with speeches from SAS Research Vice President RNDr. Eva Majková, DrSc. and Vice-Chairman for the SAS Scientific Department Section 3 prof. PhDr. Emil Višňovský, CSc.
RNDr. Eva Majková, DrSc. presented the seminar not only as an opportunity to obtain information about their work, but also expressed the hope that it would provide an opportunity to boost the scientific development of their scholars in addition to interdisciplinary contact. The SAS Vice President also welcomed the fact that the work of SASPRO scholars encourages competitiveness at the scientific institutes of the Academy at which they operate.

Vice-President of SAS prof. Emil Višňovský reaffirmed that SAS is an academy open to international cooperation, interdisciplinary work, and society and culture. The aim of the seminar was to create a space for international cooperation and enhance academic skills and culture.

The third and final part of the seminar was held at the SASPRO Small Congress centre of the Veda Publishing House. Two SASPRO scholars presented their work in archaeology, one from the area of history, political science and linguistics, two on sociology and three on philosophy. (Ľ.S.)
