Description:

Chlamydia cause endemic trachoma and sexually transmitted diseases in men and women. Moreover, they cause organ-specific reactions such as arthritis, pneumonia, enteritis, salpingitis, or abortion. Coronary heart disease and myocardial infarction are thought to be connected with chlamydia, too. Our preparations (antigens) provide a rapid, simple, sensitive and specific method for detecting antibodies against chlamydia in serum and plasma samples of humans and animals. The antigen preparations enable both to determine the origin of the disease and to propose an efficient medical treatment.
